Melissa DeMarse, LPC, CAADC

Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has her Advanced Alcohol and Drug Certification (CAADC). Melissa has over 15 years of experience helping people with mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Melisssa obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University and has served clients in a variety of Behavioral Health settings. Upon completion of graduate school, Melissa worked as an assessment specialist for Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Illinois completing level of care screenings for clients in a behavioral health crisis and facilitating appropriate treatment referrals. Melissa has provided individual and group therapy as a primary care counselor in an adult substance use disorder residential treatment setting. Melissa was the program manager for a therapeutic mentoring program for at-risk youth through the YMCA. Melissa offers expertise in behavioral health intake, assessment, diagnosis, and clinical treatment facilitation. Melissa is skilled in building rapport with clients, peers, and community members and is passionate about advocating for the reduction of stigma around mental health and substance use disorders.
