Jimmy is a general surgery resident at the University of Toledo, currently completing dedicated research time as a research associate with OPEN. His work focuses on opioid-related outcomes in surgical patients, with a broader interest in optimizing surgical care and promoting safe prescribing practices. He plans to pursue a career in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Outside of medicine, Jimmy leads an active lifestyle, is an avid Detroit sports fan, and enjoys spending time with his wife and their Golden Retriever.
