Interested and participating sites are invited to a Take Back Team Kick-Off Call the morning of August 25th, 2022 to ask questions and collaborate with other sites.

Dozens of our sites, including hospitals, nonprofits, and regular community members (like you!) hosted successful spring events earlier this year. Please consider hosting and bringing an event to your community this fall.
Participating sites can access Take Back Event marketing materials here. Use these templates to create yard signs, banners, flyers, and social media posts for your Take Back Event.
To partner with OPEN for your Take Back Event, complete this form. We will list your event’s information on this page. We will also share reimbursement opportunities and other free resources for your event.
OPEN Partners: Please save receipts from law enforcement partners, disposal boxes, and printed marketing materials to submit for reimbursement. Be sure to take plenty of photos at your event, as well. We will use this form to collect reimbursement information and photos after your event.

- 8/25/2022 – 10:00am EDT Take Back Partners Kick Off Call
- 8/31/2022 – deadline to submit the pre-event form to to request FREE event disposal boxes, Deterra bags, and medication mail-back envelopes
- 9/30/2022 – deadline to submit the pre-event form for access to FREE resources, event disposal boxes, and opportunities for event reimbursement
- 10/29/2022 – National Take Back Event, 10am-2pm
- 11/30/2022 – deadline to submit the post-event form for your event and request reimbursement
