There are numerous barriers to Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) care. This presentation will discuss key barriers including stigma, complex symptoms of addiction, and system-related barriers and approaches to help overcome barriers. This interactive discussion will include a focus on risk reduction definitions for alcohol use and use of medication and behavioral health approaches to help patients identify goals and engage in recovery.
