SUD/MOUD in our Communities: Break the Stigma to Break the Cycle

Please join the Michigan Opioid Collaborative for a presentation on the stigma associated with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) treatment. We plan to review the results from a survey distributed to peers across Michigan that measured individuals’ understanding and beliefs around Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and evidence-based OUD treatment. We will focus on varying types of stigma, themes, barriers, and community successes related to combating stigma around SUD/MOUD care.
