Free Online Course Now Available

In collaboration with the University of Michigan’s Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation and Injury Prevention Center, Michigan OPEN has created and launched a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) entitled “Impacting the Opioid Crisis: Prevention, Education, and Practice for Non-Prescribing Providers.”

The course empowers non-prescribing providers and other learners to directly impact the opioid epidemic through increased knowledge and tools for transforming practice and policies. This MOOC covers prevention, intervention, education and policy in a self-paced, non-linear learning platform while providing free continuing education credits.

This course is available through Coursera, edX and Michigan Online.
