
Katrina Hernandez, MS
Engagement Specialist
Katrina Hernandez has been with the University of Michigan for twelve years, with the last four focused on her work with MOC/OPEN. Before this, she served as a Clinical Subjects Coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry, conducting research on the relationship between substance use and suicide, with a particular emphasis on veterans. Katrina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Capella University. She is passionate about supporting individuals affected by substance use disorders, especially veterans and justice-involved populations.
