Katrina Hernandez, MS

Katrina Hernandez has worked at the University of Michigan for eleven years, the last three being with MOC. Before then she worked as a Clinical Subjects Coordinator for the Department of Psychiatry studying the relationship between substance use and suicide, specifically with veterans. She holds bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in psychology from Capella University. She is passionate about helping those struggling with substance use disorders.
She was born and raised in Owosso Michigan and currently still lives there with her husband and 12-year-old rescue dog Kodiak. In her spare time she likes to read true crime books, hang out with Kodiak, and run 5ks.
