Tudor Borza, MD, MS
Dr. Borza is a board-certified urologic surgeon who specializes in the management of patients with urologic cancers, with a special interest in prostate, kidney and bladder cancers. He is fellowship-trained and performs open, endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Borza is a health services researcher with a focus on surgical quality. He serves as the Director of the Prostate Program for the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MUSIC). His research spans the spectrum of health services research from data analysis to intervention development and implementation. His current areas of research focus on improving opioid stewardship and surgical quality after major urologic surgery through implementation of multi-level interventions. Additionally, he has an interest in understanding the effects of major health policy on surgical patients.
