Expert Consultation Services
OPEN supports primary care, community providers, and hospital staff in Michigan who are managing patients with Substance Use Disorders or complex pain.
Our team is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, excluding holidays, for consultation support via telephone or Zoom to providers and clinic staff serving patients in the State of Michigan. We strive to return your consultation request the same day.
Depending on the nature of your consultation request, the information will be triaged to the OPEN on-call provider. Our consulting providers are interdisciplinary specializing in addiction medicine, psychiatry, OB/GYN, family medicine, and pain management pharmacy.
OPEN is not an emergency service. If your patient is experiencing an emergency, contact 911.

Consultation services will be unavailable November 28, 2024 and November 29, 2024 . Any consultations submitted during this time will be responded to on December 1, 2024.
Consultation services will be unavailable December 25, 2024 through January 1, 2025. Any consultations submitted during this time will be responded to on January 2, 2025.
